The Lineberry Cart is a classic example of Industrial Chic. Hailing from Wilkesboro, NC (and just near by me in High Point NC), these carts were manufactured and sold exclusively in the North Carolina area. For much of the 1900s, Lineberry Foundry and Machine Co. sold “three-wheel carts” to furniture, textile and other factories across the Southeast about as fast as the company could produce them in North Wilkesboro and later in Wilkesboro.
These carts are having a resurgence in popularity as "reclaimed Industrial Chic" seen in House Beautiful and Architectural Digest. They fit the "Farmhouse" style of design perfectly.
This vintage rustic cart can be a great addition to your living room as a coffee table! This has an interesting vintage Industrial look and your guests will definitely envy you! This cart features 2 rustic wheels on one side and one wheel in the center on the other side. The wheels add lot of character to this item!!
This cart is just as it was used from the factory store. We have not refurbished it in any way as that tends to be a person choice on how much and how far you wish to DIY your cart. It has become such a popular DIY that even Pinterest has a step by step guideline with directions and suggestions to best repurpose this cart. It just takes a little time and "elbow grease" to get it done.
Please note: As this is a vintage item it shows signs of wear and usage- cracks, scratches, dings, rust etc are visible. But it is in good condition and will last you a long time! You will receive the exact cart in the images.
