Vintage Spice Purse on Stand

These wooden bags were used by Indian women to store different spices when they went for spice shopping. It has a metal handle to carry the bag around, and a small flap with a ring on it which was pulled open to store spices in it. 

We have mounted them on metal stands to give them a practical use in decorating. You can use them to decorate your bookshelves, or on the kitchen or bar counter or even in your living room! 

The wood may show distressed surface, marks and dents which only adds to its beauty. There may also be slight variations in shape, size or design as each piece is unique. 

Each item differs in terms of size, color or style.
